Website changes for 2009

The International Baccalaureate is changing, and so is the IB website. After talking to our users and conducting a homepage survey, we restructured our navigation and redesigned our site to include some of the things you’ve been asking for.

What’s changed?

  • We’ve updated our look in line with requests to make the site ‘lighter and brighter’.
  • You can now find all the IB news and events information under one tab.
  • Information about the IB, including facts and figures and organisational information is in the ‘About the IB’ section.
  • Academic programmes are grouped together.
  • ‘Information for’ remains the same. This is where you can find links and information for every type of user who visits the site.
  • Finally, the ‘Contact us’ tab groups information about contacting the IB and offers links to the school search and our regional pages.
  • We’ve added more suggested results to the search engine so the most popular pages appear at the top of search results more often.

Everything you’re used to using is still here, so if you can’t find what you want, or if you have any suggestions for improvements, get in touch at web@ibo.org
