Salary:£36,900 - £45,000 (salary offered withinthis range will be dependant upon candidate's qulaifications, skills and experience)

This position will be responsible for the leadership and management of the hexagon core within the Diploma Programme and school based syllabuses. The postholder will directly manage theory of knowledge assessment.
Involvement in curriculum development and assessment in schools at the upper secondary level is a requirement for this post. The ability to manage a team and to lead teams of examiners, to take individual responsibility and initiative and to be able to plan and organize are essential.
You will be a qualified graduate teacher and will have taught the IB Diploma programme, including preferably the theory of knowledge course. You will have an excellent understanding of the nature and importance of the hexagon core. Familiarity with the requirements of the IB Diploma Programme is essential, as is the ability to work in English. A working knowledge of other languages (especially Spanish) would be an advantage.
This is a unique and very exciting position that requires educational vision and the ability to not only lead, but inspire groups of highly experienced and dedicated IB practitioners.
