As part of the communications team, your role will focus on supporting and developing the organization’s online media platforms, more specifically, the IB public website, to ensure that information is clear and user friendly for the organization’s different stakeholder groups. You will also contribute to the development and management of the staff intranet.
Reporting to the online media manager, you will participate in the overall development and implementation of the IB communications strategy and be expected to work with a global communications team and website content managers situated around the world.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a related area, and will have proven experience in selecting, editing and publishing content for an online audience. You will also demonstrate experience in HTML/CSS coding and be comfortable using tools such as Photoshop/Dreamweaver/Flash or similar.
Fluency in English is essential and a strong command of one or more of the organization’s other official languages (French, Spanish and Mandarin) is desirable, as is the ability to communicate with people at different levels and from different cultures.
