You will support the Intellectual Property and Legal Support (IPLS) department in all its activities through providing a clerical service, managing information systems (including electronic and paper files of contracts and intellectual property (IP) documents of all kinds) and correspondence, handling invoices and budgetary recording and reporting.
Your duties will include responding to questions on established IP policy and practice from staff and stakeholders, and helping to defend the IB’s IP by monitoring for infringements, providing evidence as necessary and tracking cases.
Educated to IB Diploma, A-level standard or equivalent, you will have an interest in learning about or experience of dealing with intellectual property and legal issues. You will have proven administrative / office experience with good secretarial and organizational skills, strong drafting and IT skills, especially in Word, Excel and databases and you will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
