Examinations administration assistant - Ref 76 - Fixed term until the end of February 2007

Salary: £10,607 - £14,142 (starting salary £10,607)

Closing date: 4 August 2006

Based in the examinations administration department, the post provides general administrative support (for example, photocopying, sending faxes, producing standard letters, data entry, minute taking, filing) for a busy team responsible for the administration of examinations. Working as part of this team you will need to be well-organized and able to prioritize your own workload effectively. You will also need to have good interpersonal skills and the confidence to liaise with other colleagues in the office. Occasional weekend working is essential, especially in December.

You will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.

Experience of using databases (AS400/Oracle) and word-processing packages (Word) is desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
