Teacher Education Services Administrative Officer Ref 262

Salary: £13,769 - £17,500

Applications are sought for the post of administrative officer within the teacher education services department of the professional development and research division. The teacher education services department is responsible for a number of initiatives that aim to maintain and enhance the quality of the IB’s professional development provision. The post will be responsible for providing general administrative support to the department. This will involve cataloguing, archiving and updating resources and documents such as legal agreements, copyright permissions, teacher award applications and registrations and quality assurance procedures. The incumbent will also support colleagues responsible for managing and administering the various data gathering, processing and reporting systems that the department undertakes.

You will need to apply a range of organizational skills to the day to day office administration tasks. Specifically you will need to be able to create and maintain systems for data storage and cataloguing. You will need to be able to work effectively with a full range of office administration software (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation, web browsers and email).  You should have good spoken and written communication skills and feel comfortable in working flexibly within a small team.
