IB Americas In-school Workshops
IB Americas in-school workshops provide IB authorized or candidate schools with the opportunity to train their entire programme staff on their own school premises, and to focus upon select programme issues and strategies. These workshops are recognized for school authorization and evaluation purposes.
Please follow these 8 simple steps to ensure that your in-school workshop runs smoothly.
Step 1:

Step 2 :
Submit requests for In-school workshops by the appropriate deadline:
- January 1: for workshops scheduled from April-June
- April 1: for workshops scheduled from July-September
- July 1: for workshops scheduled from October-December
- October 1: for workshops scheduled from January-March
Step 3 :
Once you have reviewed the application instructions and submission deadlines, click here to apply for an In-school workshop. You will need your IBIS login credentials to apply for an in-school workshop. If you do not have an IBIS login please contact IB Answers.
Step 4:
If your application for an In-school workshop is approved, the school's IB coordinator will receive an email confirming the workshop by the following dates:
- February 15: for workshops scheduled from April-June
- May 15: for workshops scheduled from July-September
- August 15: for workshops scheduled from October-December
- November 15: for workshops scheduled from January-March
Step 5 :
Two (2) months prior to the start of the workshop the school coordinator will register all participant in Regis (IB's online registration system). IB Americas will book travel and accommodations for the workshop leaders.
Step 6 :
The school will be invoiced before the workshop takes place and must submit payment at least 21 days prior to the start of the workshop.
Step 7 :
The IB Americas Professional Development Department will send the workshop materials to the school to be printed, and the school will provide ground transportation for the workshop leaders.
Step 8 :
Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be sent a link to the online evaluation form. Once participants complete the online evaluation, “Certificates of attendance” will be available in Regis for the school coordinator to download and distribute.
